Responsibilities and Achievements:Directly reporting to the Senior Corporate Director cum Head of Asia, collaborated with the top management of HORIBA Singapore, to develop new marketing strategy for the 1,100 million JPY environmental related businesses covering the emerging market of ASEAN, to achieve 2,500 million JPY sales target by 2013.

? Championed and established pilot marketing function and marketing strategy in Asia market. Pilot project including an Asia Marketing Network in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam which mainly consists of NGOs/NPOs, academicians and local government authorities, to develop a business intelligence function and channel whilst accumulating lobbying capacity for future environmental policy making in each respective country.

? Seek and develop new strategic partnership at each country for the booming environmental business. In particularly for projects coordinated by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Canadian International Development Fund, as well as United Nations agencies such as UNEP, UNIDO, UNDP, UNU etc. to increase company reputation internationally as well as entering into large government contracts.

Developed new business opportunities through collaboration with international and domestic entities, across technical and non-technical, including non-governmental and non-profit as well as policy making agencies to market Horiba’s technical expertise to cross regional urban development projects.

? Core member and Japan representative of the ATS Global Marketing and Sales Group, planned and decided strategies as the matrix decision making group which resulted the 50 billion JPY sales in 2007. Assisted top management to device future strategy of HORIBA ATS and prepared the 2008-2013 marketing plan to achieve group-wide Mid Long-term Management Action Plan (MLMAP) to increase sales to 250 billion yen.
